The entire series was made in 2020, when I was exploring landscapes with graphite paper: a curious technique for creating a visual work in which the eye/vision has no function. Since you can’t see the drawing underneath the paper while working, you are left with nothing but listening-with-your-body.

Once I ran out of graphite paper and couldn’t find it in any shop for a long time, I supplemented some of the graphics with ink. Although unintentionally, this unique series eventually revealed a similar vibration with the poems from my new poetry collection Skalpel za sanjsko membrano [Scalpel for a dream membrane]. Today, the prints form an integral part of the book – not only as a visual decoration (design), but as a co-expression which enhances the book’s distinct poetics as a whole.
