Score No.27-29:

WHEN WE FALL. APART FROM ETERNITY-1

THE SCORE

Score No. 27-29 was made to support visual art works at the Tone Lapajne’s exhibition exhibition. In hours-long performance we built our movement and

spatial composition in strong relation (communication) to the exhibited visual works. A the same time we aimed at focusing on movement-in-time

(more than movement-in-space), so to create a contemplative atmosphere, a sense of eternity.

Thus, the work is rather a »kinesthetic exhibition« than a typical dance performance.

It left space for the spectators to briefly throw an eye on performers while watching other visual works, see us as one of the exhibited objects,

or feel free to endure with us in a longer meditative observation.

In line with the context, the text is written from the perspective of “inner thoughts” of two sculptures (or two figures within one sculpture), placed in a gallery, museum or fountains in a city. At moments, the sculptures’ perspective also shifts to the perspective of models who pose for paintings or sculptures, or to the spectators’ comments while watching the sculpture(s). The text was originally written in Slovene.
