How do we all co-create the world through everyday practices and technology? How do we use things, space, what actions or ideas do we choose, and what is the effect of our choices? The project was exploring the correlation between the cultural tendency towards constant comfort and our individual (perceptual-cognitive) and intersubjective (social) intelligence. It was focusing on banal, seemingly “normal” and “innocent” daily practices and technological innovations, and questioned how beneficial these actually are for human (individual and social) development. Is all this really a comfort for human beings? Are smart phones and automatic drawers, ovens etc. really a comfort, or is there also a violence, a cognitive regression hidden in them? Is it good for us to simply get used to them? Through a series of urban interventions (May-August), a performative lecture (September), and a visual installation (November) the project unfolded a synergistically accumulated sociality in which every individual is an important social actor contributing to the complex social picture.
